The Ocean Environment Pack contains everything you need for a AAA Gaming Experience
This asset contains tonnes of great features, and supports Forward Shading, and now supports Android and iOS Shaders!
This package is well optimized, which makes it a great option for VR experiences!
The package includes 10 Plants, 9 Rocks, 5 Creatures and an abundance of awesome blueprints:
Deep Sea Lighting Blueprint
The default environment contains a static lighting and volumetric fog combination, allowing for seamless shallow and deep sea lighting effects. With mobile, volumetric fog is not possible, so a Dynamic Deep Sea Lighting Blueprint has been included to manage the lighting instead!
This blueprint allows you to adjust the colors, thickness and depth values of fog, and dynamically changes them at runtime based on the players height value - mimicking the effects of swimming from the shallows to the deep sea!
Ocean Spline System Blueprint
By utilizing the Ocean Spline System, you can easily modify the path, movement speed, mesh, materials, animation speed and intensity of whatever creature you decide to animate. All the creatures have been animated with the Vertex Animation tool to provide high performance and customizability of animation intensity via the Ocean Spline System.
Ocean Dust Mote Blueprint
This blueprint keeps a dust-mote emmitter glued to the camera, but spawns them in world space. This increases performance by including the dust-mote effect without needing multiple emmitters or impacting performance
Other Features
- Display hundreds of fish on Screen with the performance Optimised Particle Fishes!
- Realistic bubble particles
- Experience realistic underwater effects such as Caustic Sunlight, God-Rays, Bubbles, Dust Motes & Plants that sway with the water.
- Paint extremely high detailed terrain with a Landscape Materials that provides world displacement and bumpoffset.
- All rocks have 3 Material types; Bare, Sandy and Very Sandy - which each procedurally place the sand on the surface of the rock.
- Every Material Instance is highly customizable, so you can create your very own look and feel of each creature, plant or environmental asset.
2022 Update!
The latest update includes:
